I went to a café by myself, ready to have my morning coffee (or two- double fisting it as they call it in America) and struck up a lovely conversation with two Aussie girls. One of which, I randomly crossed paths with (Natalie) a few days later. I ended up going on an adventure with her to a Balinese water ceremony upon her spontaneous invitation.
It was on that car trip, that we realized how much we had in common, and organically this venture just began to flow.
Don’t underestimate the power in being true to you, and being open to the possibilities that effortlessly come in.
In the past two months, we have traveled Bali, and moved into what we refer to as “our compound”; where we’ve been working around the clock to bring you the best tips for coming to Bali at: http://www.girlguidetobali.com- in hopes to facilitate a magical Balinese experience for yourself. (It should be mentioned that we definitely took dance breaks and busted out some Jay Z, or cannon-balled it into the pool, much to Wayan’s chagrin, when we were in work mode for too long.) 😉
I have not only met a business partner, but a sister for life. We just get each other- and allow each other the breathing room to facilitate a healthy, expansive, fun collaboration and partnership- enabling us to both be our true selves, while utilizing our strengths to contribute to the team effort.
There is no ego involved in this mission. We genuinely both feel a pull greater than ourselves to inspire others on what we’ve been beyond fortunate to experience… and to find that partner in crime makes it so much more fun and rewarding than going at it alone.
So, to all of you out there who feel a burning passion inside of you to create, and want the benefits of a collaboration- do you, remain open, and trust that the universe will conspire and bring that person to you in the perfect time.
Much love from your crazy and passionate GGTB girls,
Michelle and Nat xx
